The Club is rocked by the impact of a late December storm which saw the clubhouse severely damaged and some 15 trees uprooted in the club grounds. The clubhouse has half its roof blown off and rain destroys much of the internal furniture and fittings. As always, the club rallies with volunteer members assisting in the initial clean-up however it will be some time before the insurance company assists with what will be a major re-build of the historic building.
